Weiner Roasts and Swinging good times

Leisa and Walley and Cole came to visit

and i neglected to take pictures of Cole attempting to walk. Sorry.

But trust me it was so cute.

Then Heidi and Xander came and slept over

and we had a weiner roast and played on the swings among other things.

We are so glad spring is almost here.

Springtime and Easter

Springtime may be here to stay this time.
3 Weeks ago the weather was so warm so
we raked our lawn and planted pansies on the back terraces
It was so refreshing.

And then it happened 3 weeks of bad weather.
In Milton here we got 18 inches of more snow.

It has barely melted again.

My friend Valerie bought a new house and she didn't like
the swing set so she gave it to us.

We are in process of making a playyard in the pasture.

Saturday Evening we had a spur of the moment Easter Eve cookout
We grilled some burgers and sat around and talked.
Thanks kids for coming on a last minute notice.

Crocus are always the first sign of spring here.

Just like flowers come alive each spring

Because of Jesus' resurrection we can live again too.

Grandma's visit to the Wallaces

Sunday we had Dinner in Richmond with Leisa and Andrew and Cole.

Thanks for the wonderful lunch that I didn't have to fix.

Grandpa's Redecorated Bathroom

We have spent the last couple of weeks redecorating Grandpa's upstairs bathroom.

My nephew Reese Anderson was married on Valentines Day.

He married Amanda Dinsdale.

We wish them the best.

My Dear Aunt Marilyn Bjorkman Noyes Waite

I had realized recently that I did not have a picture of my Aunt Marilyn and myself.
I was named in honor of her.

She married my dad's little brother, Hal, the day I was born.
She will always be dear to me.

Uncle Rod Haslers Funeral

Yesterday Monday January 26, 2009 was my brother in laws Funeral.
He had been married to my sister Verla for 5 short years.

He had been a fire fighter
and a Marine. The ceremony at the cemetery was really special.


He had also been a Silver Beaver. He loved scouting and being prepared.

My siblings have not all been together since my mother passed away in 2002.

since then my sister Barbara passed away but we were not all able to be there.
